90-Day Traffic Advisory Issued in View of the Flyover Construction Work in Cyberabad

Hyderabad: As the work on pending flyover construction sees rapid progress, the Cyberabad traffic Police have issued an advisory with modified restrictions for the next 90 days to regulate the movement of traffic in the ever-busy IT corridor .

Alternate routes have been assigned and the traffic restrictions have been modified in view of the department receiving several complaints against diversions resulting in chaos here.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY IN HYDERABAD

  1. ORR (Outer Ring Road) bound traffic moving towards Miyapur or Cable Bridge should take the upper Shilpa Flyover.
  2. Commuters travelling from Mehdipatnam to Miyapur, and Gachibowli to Miyapur should take the lower flyover and move towards AIG, Ramky Towers, and Radisson junction for easy hasslefree travel.
  3. Those travelling from Miyapur to Mehdipatnam via Kondapur can travel via Radisson Junction, Rolling Hills, AIG, Deloitte Junction and Gachibowli.
  4. Those travelling from Miyapur to Cable Bridge can go via IKEA, Rotary Flyover, Shilpa Layout Flyover. Through this route, travellers can also reach ORR.
  5. For a free movement at IKEA and Rotary Flyover, U-turns have been extended.
  6. Traffic going from Kukatpally to Biodiversity Junction can take Cyber Towers, underpass at IKEA, Biodiversity Junction and then take right towards Gachibowli.
  7. Those travelling from Gachibowli towards Kukatpally can take a left Biodiversity Junction, underpass at IKEA, and Cyber Towers.
  8. The T-Hub area was connected from Khajaguda Junction to Kohinoor Hotel by taking a turn at Pakwaan restaurant and viceversa.
  9. Commuters moving towards Tech Mahindra from Miyapur can take a U-turn at Hitex Junction and reach the IT corridor.

Cyberabad joint commissioner of police (traffic) Narayan Naik said, “We appeal to the public to cooperate with the traffic diversions for the next 90 days.”
