SPARSH Outreach programme organised for Defence Pensioners at Guntur

Secunderabad, 04 Jul 2023: Govt. of India is organising Outreach Programme from 03 to 22 July 2023 for the identification and grievance redressal of SPARSH [System for Pension Administration (RAKSHA)] Pensioners from the tri-services (Army, Navy & Air Force) in many districts across India.

As part of the same, a mass SPARSH Outreach Programme was organised on 04 July 2023 for the Defence Pensioners at Shubamasthu Police Kalyana Mandapam, Guntur by the Controller of Defence Accounts (CDA) Chennai. Shri T. Dhilip Kumar, IDAS, Assistant Controller of CDA Chennai presided over the event and Director of Sainik Welfare Brigadier Venkat Reddy and Zilla Sainik Welfare officers, Guntur attended the event.

Shri. Dhilip Kumar, IDAS spoke about the importance of timely identification of pensioners in pension disbursement and the role of SPARSH in simplifying the process of pension sanction to Disbursement. He also explained about the steps taken by the Government in the Disbursement of OROP Arrears. Staff from PCDA Pensions, Prayagraj and CDA Chennai clarified the queries of the pensioners and resolved grievances related to SPARSH.

A mass SPARSH Outreach Programme was organised for the Defence Pensioners at Guntur by the Controller of Defence Accounts (CDA) Chennai on 04 July 2023.

Around 300 pensioners from the districts of Guntur, Palnadu, Krishna and Vijayawada attended the outreach program. Stalls were installed for Life Certificate Identification, Aadhaar updation, SPARSH information, Grievances Redressal, Banking facilities, etc.
