Hyderabad, August 23 (Maxim News): Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president Mahesh Kumar Goud said the Congress government is focusing on balanced development in Nizamabad district.
Mahesh Kumar Goud said the government is pursuing welfare, infrastructure and industrial growth together.
Speaking to the media in Nizamabad, Mahesh Kumar Goud said the government had brought engineering and agriculture colleges to the district after taking office. He said classes have already started at the institutions.
Mahesh Kumar also said the government is developing a guest house at Limbadri Gutta. In addition, he said Nizamabad received the highest number of Indiramma houses sanctioned among Telangana districts.
Nizamabad Development Gets Focus on Housing, Education and Industry
As part of the Nizamabad development plans, the government is also considering Indiramma Towers in the district. Mahesh Kumar Goud said officials are working on a pilot project similar to the housing model in Hyderabad.
Goud said the government has also discussed the district master plan with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. The discussions focused on planned growth and future infrastructure needs.
Meanwhile, Mahesh Kumar Goud said the government is giving equal importance to welfare and development. He also highlighted efforts to strengthen the Congress organisation across the district.
He said the party is appointing leaders who worked for the organisation to positions in cooperative societies. According to him, these appointments recognise party workers and strengthen the organisation at the grassroots level.
The TPCC president also criticised BJP leaders over their record on Nizamabad’s development. He alleged that the BJP could not develop the district as a Smart City.
He further said the district is making progress in agriculture. He pointed to the proposed palm oil industry in Armur as an important development for the local economy.
The proposed industry could create new opportunities for farmers and strengthen value addition in the agriculture sector. Nizamabad has also emerged as an important agricultural district in Telangana.
Mahesh Kumar Goud said the Congress government wants Nizamabad to achieve growth across sectors. He added that the government will continue to focus on infrastructure, education, housing and agriculture.
He also stressed the need to strengthen the Congress party while implementing welfare and development programmes. The government’s plans, he said, aim to support both economic activity and social welfare in the district.
The statements come as the state government continues to expand housing and infrastructure programmes across Telangana. The implementation of the proposed projects will determine their impact on Nizamabad residents and the district economy.
