CM KCR ‘Woos’ Muslims With Rs. 1 Lakh Scheme

Hyderabad, July 23 (Maxim News) On the lines of the BCs (Backward Classes), the Telangana government issued orders providing Rs. One Lakh financial assistance to the Minority communities with 100 percent subsidy on Sunday.

Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao’s decision to extend financial help to the Minorities unveiled another historical milestone towards achieving economic self-reliance for the minority communities in the country.

On this occasion, KCR said, the “State Government is putting all efforts with a vision to eliminate poverty in all sections irrespective of the Caste and Religion. The Government is already extending support to the deserving sections. The Chief Minister reiterated that the state government is committed to the development and welfare of all Minority communities efforts are being made to wipe out poverty and backwardness of minorities by implementing a slew of schemes in various sectors including Education and Employment. The action plan executed by the government in this direction is already yielding desirable results. The Chief Minister said and made it clear that the government will safeguard ‘Ganga Jamuni Tahzeeb’ by supporting all multi-cultures and religious traditions equally.

It may be recalled that the Minister for Finance, Medical and Health, T. Harish Rao announced that another new scheme is being introduced for the minorities, KCR is under consideration and will give the good news soon. According to his statement, the government issued an order regarding the Lakh scheme today.

It seems that BRS has brought this scheme as minority votes will be crucial in the upcoming elections. Many are of the opinion that this scheme has been brought to block the efforts of Congress to get the votes of the minorities in the coming elections and turn it toward the BRS.

The procedures related to this Minority Lakh Scheme will be released soon. In a statement, Minority Welfare Minister Koppula Eshwar thanked the government and KCR for bringing the lakh scheme for minorities. (Maxim News)
