Godavari Rising Again At Bhadrachalam

Bhadrachalam/Hyderabad, July 23 (Maxim News): The Godavari river is raging. The water level is increasing hour by hour. In the Bhadrachalam-Kothagudem district, the Godavari River is on the rise, with this, the first danger warning was issued.

Godavari water level at Bhadrachalam is flowing at 43 feet. Water from the upper states is reaching the Godavari due to the continuous heavy rains for the last four days. Officials expect the water level to rise by another two or three feet by Sunday (July 23) evening.

As the flood level of the Godavari River is increasing. the authorities are taking all precautions to prevent anyone from getting on the embankment. the district collector ordered the officials to move the people from the flooded area to the rehabilitation centers. Collector Priyanka Ala suggested that the people of Lanka Village should also cooperate with the authorities and go to the rehabilitation centers. (Maxim News)
