If 49 People Died In The Flood, How Much Is The Compensation?: HC To Govt

Hyderabad, Aug 11 (Maxim News) The High Court of Telangana got angry with the government stating that the reports submitted by the government for the second time on the floods are incomplete.

The High Court which heard the case today mentioned several points, It has been said that the details of Rs. 500 crore compensation and how many have been helped are not correct. It ordered the government to give a comprehensive report with full details of how the amount was spent. the government’s counsel submitted a report to the court stating the measures taken by the government against the floods.

The government has stated in the report that Rs. 500 crores have been allocated for rehabilitation. I has been clarified in the report submitted to the court that 49 people have died due to the impact of floods. However, the petitioner’s lawyer Chikudu Prabhakar stated that the report filed by the government for the second time is also incomplete.

After hearing the arguments of both groups, the High Court ordered the government to inform the government about the measures it has taken in the case of those suffering from infectious diseases. It said that a comprehensive report should be submitted on how much compensation has been paid to the 49 dead people.

The High Court adjourned the case till next Thursday i.e. August 17. (Maxim News)
