Judicial Remand To Accused Involved In Minor Girl Sexual Offense

Hyderabad, Nov 17 (Maxim News): The Golconda Police apprehended individuals involved in the abduction and sexual exploitation of a 15-year-old minor girl. Subsequently, on November 16, 2023, the Manager cum receptionist of OYO Flagship Lodge at Neknampur and its owner were also arrested for facilitating illegal activities within the lodge by providing a room to a minor girl in the company of an adult without proper ID verification.

The accused A1. Syed Abdul Nadeem S/o Syed Abdul Ahmed, 23 years, Electrician, R/o H.No. 9-11-428/A/30, NimbuKunta, Taqatbowli, Heerakhana, Golconda, Hyd.

A2. Syed Nazeeruddin @ Shoaib S/o Khaja Moinuddin, 20 years, Bike Mechanic (At HERO showroom, Attapur road), R/o H.No. 9-8-440/A/8/A, Chota Bazar, near MJP Dairy Farm, Golconda.
(Accused A1 & A2 were arrested on 14.11.2023, and produced before the Hon’ble Court on 15.11.2023)

A3. John Singh S/o Nageshwar Singh, 23 years, Receptionist cum Manager of OYO flagship lodge at Neknampur (V) Gandipet (M) RR Dist.

A4. Muntha Vijay S/o Madhava Rao, 30 years, Business (Owner of OYO Flagship at Neknampur & Jahnavi group of hotels), R/o Flat No. 203, Chaitanya Apartments, Raghavendra colony, Kondapur, Sherilingampally, RR Dist. A3 & A4 were arrested on 16.11.2023 and produced before the Hon’ble court on 17.11.2023)

On November 14, 2023, at 08:00 hrs, the Golconda Police received an English-typed complaint from the victim’s mother, stating that her 15-year-old daughter had left home without informing anyone on November 13, 2023, at around 19:00 hrs. During the search, the victim girl was dropped off by Syed Nazeeruddin @ Shoaib (A2) at the corner of their house in the early hours of November 14, 2023, at around 03:00 hrs.

The investigation revealed that on November 13, 2023, A1 called the victim girl to OYO Lodge on the motorcycle of A2 at Neknampur, Narsingi PS Limits. At 10:30 PM, A1, along with the minor victim girl, went to OYO lodge, where A3 (Receptionist) noticed their arrival and informed A4 (Owner). A4, prioritizing profit over safety, instructed A3 to provide a room. A3 assigned room No. 204 to A1 and the victim’s minor girl, where A1 committed rape and penetrative sexual assault.

A3 and A4 were arrested on November 16, 2023, for abetment of a major offense under section 109 IPC in OYO lodge and were sent to judicial remand by the Court Judge.

The police have urged all OYO and other hotel/lodge managements not to allow minors on the premises without proper ID verification. Any violations will result in stern legal action against the hotel management. (Maxim News)
