Uttam ridicules KCR’s claim of victory for the third term

Hyderabad, November 22: Congress MP & Huzurnagar candidate Capt N Uttam Kumar Reddy ridiculed the remarks made by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao of BRS winning the next elections. “Congress is forming the next government in Telangana by winning over 80 seats. There is no doubt about it,” he said.

In an informal chat with media persons during campaigning in the Huzurnagar constituency on Wednesday, Uttam Kumar Reddy said that the Congress party would win a majority of seats in nine out of 10 undivided districts of Telangana while it will have a total sweep in Nalgonda district. He said CM KCR has been trying to confuse voters by making false claims of BRS victory. He said that the conditions at the ground level have become so bad for the BRS that most of its candidates are unable to campaign in many villages.

Uttam Kumar Reddy said that the BRS has cheated the common people in two elections and this time people are in no mood to get fooled. He said that CM KCR has either failed to sense the people’s pulse or is deliberately trying to deny the reality that BRS is badly losing the elections. He said that the BRS tactics of marketing the welfare schemes have miserably failed. He said the BRS Govt gave Rs 10 lakh financial assistance to a few hundred Dalits and tried to cheat the entire community by giving an impression as if all 17 lakh Dalit families got the money. Similarly, by distributing a few hundred 2BHK units, BRS Govt created a wrong impression as if it resolved the entire housing problem in Telangana. He said all Dalit, Girijan, BC and minority communities have realized that they are being cheated by BRS Govt. Therefore, there will be en masse voting in favour of Congress to throw BRS out of power, he said. The Congress leader asked people to stay cautious with bogus surveys and false claims about BRS victory. He said Congress will win the Assembly elections with a comfortable majority to form the next government. He also asked them not to get lured with the money or other gifts being offered by the BRS leaders to get their votes. He said any compromise at this stage would spoil the future of their children forever. He said that the Congress party would resolve the problems being faced by all communities and all sections of society. He reiterated the claim that the Congress would win the Huzurnagar and Kodad seats with a huge majority. (Maxim News)
