One Held For Cheating Cricket Match Ticket Buyers

Hyderabad, Dec 25 (Maxim News): Hyderabad Cyber Crime Police arrested one accused person by name Mohammad Riyaz, Age 33 yrs from Gurgaon, Haryana who is involved in cheating the Cricket match ticket seekers, on the guise of providing Cricket match tickets  and seized one Blue colour Realme Redmi 7 Mobile phone. 

Complaint received from victim R/o Hyderabad stating that accused person approached him and made false promises that he will arrange tickets for India Vs. Australia Cricket Match, which was scheduled on 19th March 2023 at Visakhapatnam and made him to transfer an amount of Rs.5,26,360/- to the bank accounts provided by him. Cyber Crime police, Hyderabad registered a case in Cr.No.1012/2023 and investigated. 

According to D.Kavitha, DCP, Cyber Crimes, Hyderabad, the Cyber Fraudster  Mohammad Riyaz worked as a freelancer for EventsNow company. While working at this company, he used to provide cricket match

tickets to several persons on behalf of the Company. By taking advantage of these contacts, he hatched a plan to earn easy money by collecting money from Cricket match ticket seekers, on the guise of providing Cricket match tickets to earn easy money.

The team headed by Inspector of Police K. Haribhushana Rao consisted of team members P.Suresh SI, V.Narsing Rao, G.Govinda Rao, B.Ravi Sankar,  G.Venkatesh, Ch. Rajesh Kumar,  A.Ramu,  N.Vamshi, under the direct supervision of D.Kavitha, and R.G Siva Maruthi, ACP, Cyber Crime PS, Hyderabad have cracked the case at Gurgaon, Haryana. (Maxim News)
