No Misconceptions About Pensions And Rythu Bharosa: Revanth

Hyderabad, Dec 30 (Maxim News): Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said that there should be no misconceptions about Pensions and Rythu Bandhu. All the old beneficiaries will get help as usual.

The Chief Minister held a review on the pattern of Praja Palana application and the situation at the field level with the higher officials, today, in the wake of the commencement of the Praja Palana program in the state from 28th of this month, the officials were asked about the details of the gram sabhas held so far, the details of the applications, the process of accepting the public governance applications and the response of the public.  

To ensure that there is no difficulty in receiving the applications, the officials have been told that as many applications as they need should be made available to the applicants Revanth Reddy expressed his displeasure over the sale of Abhaya Hastam applications. The Chief Minister ordered the officials to take strict action against those selling the applications.

It has been clarified that all the old beneficiaries will get these schemes as usual so that there are no misconceptions about the pensions. Those who have not received the benefit in the past and those who want to get the new benefit should apply.  He said that people should not get confused in this matter.  The officials have been advised to ensure that there is no shortage of drinking water, tents for proper shade and other arrangements for the applicants in the Praja Palana camps.

During the last two days of the Praja Palana programme, 16.60 lakh applications were received within two days.  Sunday and Monday are holidays due to New Year and the reception of applications has been interrupted.  the authorities will be accepting applications from January 2.  (Maxim News)
