Hyderabad: Water Supply Interruptions In THESE Areas

Hyderabad, Jan 1 (Maxim News): A crucial update for Hyderabad’s water infrastructure involves ongoing junction works on a key pipeline in Santosh Nagar.

This 1600 mm dia MS gravity main plays a vital role in supplying drinking water to the city and the works are crucial to its long-term stability.

These improvements are being undertaken as part of the Strategic Road Development Plan (SRDP) and are designed to avoid disrupting the newly constructed flyover at Santhosh Nagar. Officials emphasize meticulous planning to ensure minimal impact on water supply.

While the works themselves are essential, they will necessitate a temporary interruption in water supply for residents in several areas.

From 6 AM on Wednesday, January 3rd, to 6 AM on Thursday, January 4th, the following areas will be affected:

Miralam
Kishanbagh
Aljubail Colony
Santoshnagar
Vinaynagar
Saidabad
Chanchalguda
Asmangarh

Madannapet
Mahbub Mansion
Riyasatnagar
Aliabad
Boggikunta
Afzalganj

The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) urges residents in these areas to utilize available water judiciously during this period.
