Long Awaited Police Constable Recruitment To Begin In Telangana

Hyderabad, Jan 4 (Maxim News): Obstacle has been removed for filling constable posts in Telangana. The division Bench of the High Court overturned the decision of the single bench on the appointment of the constables.

The High Court ordered a complete constable recruitment process within a month, With this, the line for 15,640 constable posts has been cleared.

Earlier, a single bench had ruled that marks should be added to four questions in the constable question paper. With this, the selected candidates challenged the single bench verdict. The division bench that conducted the inquiry struck down the previous verdict. The High Court directed the Police Recruitment Board to complete the constable selection process within four weeks while directing an independent expert committee to examine and take a decision on the errors in the single questions.
