Andhra Pradesh BJP leaders also believe that the alliance with TDp will be finalized.  Rather than contesting elections alone, they prefer to go together. The BJP leadership hopes to finalize the party’s situation in various states and the strategies to be followed before the BJP Parliamentary Board meeting in Delhi on February 9. In 2014, BJP Janasena-TDP contested together and won.

Andhra Pradesh BJP leaders also believe that Chandrababu would have received the invitation only after deciding to tie up with TDP. TDP is acting strategically on Chandrababu’s visit to Delhi. At the time of elections, whether or not there is an alliance with the BJP, there are chances of seeking political support from the Centre.

Chandrababu, who allied with the BJP in the 2014 elections, then also took the post of Union Minister in the Modi government.  At that time it was not a special status.  They agreed to a special package.  Chandrababu explained to the people what would happen if they got special status.  Before the 2019 elections, Chandrababu, who took U-turn again, demanded special status.  BJP came out of the government and started a big movement against Modi in Delhi.  In the 2019 elections, Chandrababu who contested alone won only 23 seats.  Now again Chandrababu is making efforts to an alliance with the BJP.  It means that Chandrababu is meeting again with the BJP which will not give special status.  The status issue has been put aside by the TDP.  Speculations that the TDp will join the NDA again before the general elections in 2024 elections are once again on the rise.  (Maxim News)
