Officials Will Be Suspended If Power Cuts Done Deliberately Warned: Revanth 

Hyderabad, Feb 22 (Maxim News): Chief Minister Revanth Reddy strongly warned the officials of the TSTRANSCO and TSGENCO that they will be suspended if any information that some of the field-level staff who were appointed during the previous BRS government are deliberately making power cuts to bring bad name to Congress government.

He said that it has come to their attention that some people are conspiring to give a bad name to the government and spread bad publicity about electricity.  He warned that strict action would be taken against such officers and staff.   

It is the official’s responsibility to counter the misinformation that they are making cuts.  If the electricity supply is stopped anywhere for more than five minutes, the reasons should be investigated immediately.  From the 1st to the 13th of February, 264.96 million units of electricity were supplied per day.  only 242.44 million units were supplied during the same period last year.

In January last year, 230.54 million units were supplied, while this year’s January saw more than 243.12 million units. (Maxim News
