Revanth Reddy Released The Mega DSC Notification To Fill 11,062 Teacher Posts 

Hyderabad, Feb 29 (Maxim News): Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has released the Mega DSC (District Selection Committee) recruitment notification to 11,062 posts at his residence along with the officials of the Education Department today.

Previously on September 6 of the previous year, a DSC notification was issued for filling 5,089 teacher posts, resulting in approximately 1.75 lakh applications.  The DSC exam was postponed due to scheduling conflicts with the Assembly elections.  The new government has now decided to fill up 11,062 posts, leading to the cancellation of the previous notification.  It has been clarified that candidates who had applied for the previous DSC notification do not need to re-apply for the new recruitment process.  

The latest notification includes 6,508 Secondary Grade Teachers (SGT), 2,629 School assistants (SA), 727 Language Scholars (LP), 182 Physical Education teachers (PET), 1016 Special Education teachers 229 posts, 79 vacancies under the SA cadre.  These posts also include 5,089 vacancies notified by the previous BRS government.  All the candidates who have applied in the previous notification will have their applications automatically applied in the latest notification.  They do not need to reapply.  The Computer Based Exam is likely to be conducted in May/June.  Some candidates appear for multiple posts like SGT, and SA and hence plan to conduct recruitment tests on different dates.

After coming to power, this is the second time that Congress has canceled a notification additionally increased the number of jobs, and released another notification.  The same was done for Group-1 exams.  TSPSC has released a new notification on February 19 with 563 posts.  Revanth Sarkar increased the age limit from 44 to 46 years.  The preliminary exam is likely to be held in May or June.  Also, it is known that the main exam will be held in September or October. However, the TSPSC has ordered those who have applied for Group 1 in the past to apply this time also. (Maxim News
