SOT Cyberabad Police Seized Rs. 24.28 Lakhs During Vehicle Checks

Hyderabad: SOT Cyberabad police conducted vehicle checks at two locations in Hyderabad and seized Rs. 24,28,170/-. The money was found in two separate vehicles transporting cash without the required permissions from the Election Commission.

The SOT Balanagar team inspected a secure value vehicle (TS 09 UA 3611) used for bank cash transport. They discovered the vehicle was carrying Rs. 23,05,600/- without Election Commission authorization. The vehicle and the cash were handed over to the KukatPally Police Station.

The SOT medical team inspected a Writer’s Safeguard Cash Logistics vehicle (TS 09 UD 2761) also used for bank cash transport.

They found the vehicle was carrying Rs. 1,22,570/- without the mandatory Election Commission permissions. The vehicle and the cash were handed over to the Pet Basheerabad Police Station.
