Only former Prime Minister Morarji Desai presented the budget 6 times in a row. Sitharaman has now broken that record. She also created a record as the finance minister who introduced the budget the most times.
Union Budget 2024-25
Sitharaman took charge as the Finance Minister in July 2019. Since then, she has presented the budget 6 times in a row with a full budget, interim, or vote-on-account budget for the 7th time.

Sitharaman has surpassed former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Arun Jaitley, P. Chidambaram, and Yashwant Sinha, who presented the budget five times in a row as finance ministers.
