Congress Alleges Harish Rao Performed Tantric Rituals

Congress | Hyderabad, Aug 3 (Maxim News): The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) levelled serious allegations against former minister and senior Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader T. Harish Rao, claiming he had been performing tantric rituals with the intention of harming the Congress government and the state.

Addressing a press conference, TPCC Media Committee Chairman Sama Ram Mohan Reddy alleged that Harish Rao had been conducting tantric and occult rituals in different states because the BRS was no longer in power.

He claimed the rituals were aimed at creating hardship for Telangana and its farmers and accused the former minister of pursuing a political agenda against the ruling Congress.

Congress Levels Allegations Against Harish Rao

Sama Ram Mohan Reddy alleged that Harish Rao had secretly performed special rituals at multiple locations over the past few months.

He claimed that rituals were conducted in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, on March 2, Shivamogga, Karnataka, between May 31 and June 1, Tiruchirappalli again on June 20, and Shivamogga on July 23.

According to the Congress leader, Harish Rao should clarify the purpose of these alleged rituals and explain why they were conducted. He also demanded that BRS MLC K. Kavitha respond to the allegations.

Political Attack on BRS

Sama Ram Mohan Reddy alleged that some opposition leaders believed the state should prosper only when they were in power. He accused the BRS of attempting to create dissatisfaction among farmers and the public for political gain.

He further alleged that the opposition was trying to provoke farmers, women and youth for political purposes and appealed to people not to believe what he described as misleading campaigns by BRS leaders.

Referring to recent comments made by another BRS leader, he claimed it was unusual for political leaders to wish against rainfall when governments generally pray for good rains and prosperous harvests.

The TPCC leader asserted that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy would continue to lead the state’s development and said such alleged rituals would have no impact on the government. He also claimed that the people of Telangana, particularly farmers, women and youth, continued to support the Congress government.

The BRS has not issued an official response to the allegations at the time of publication.(Maxim News)
