Hyderabad, July 25: (Maxim News): The Telangana state cabinet, led by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, has approved the budget for the upcoming fiscal year 2024-25.

Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka will unveil the budget in the Legislative Assembly at noon today, July 25th, 2024. Minister Sridhar Babu will concurrently present the budget in the Legislative Council.
Telangana Assembly Session Extended Until August 2nd
The ongoing Telangana Assembly session will continue until August 2nd, 2024. After a one-day break on July 26th, the Assembly will convene for budget discussions on July 27th. The following day, July 28th, is a Sunday, and we will not have any sessions.

The remaining days of the session (July 29th-August 2nd) will see the introduction of various bills. The Appropriation Bill, a crucial piece of legislation authorizing government spending, is scheduled for presentation on July 31st.
This approval by the cabinet paves the way for the official budget presentation, kicking off discussions and outlining the government’s financial plans for the upcoming year. (Maxim News)
