Heavy Rain Forecast For Telangana Districts For Next 48 Hours
Hyderabad, July 25: (Maxim News): The Hyderabad Meteorological Centre (HMC) has predicted continued rainfall across Telangana for the next two days. This comes after several days of persistent rain, with some districts experiencing heavy downpours.
A low-pressure system currently affecting the state is expected to maintain wet weather conditions.
Next 24 hours (Wednesday to Thursday morning): Heavy rainfall is likely in Asifabad, Mancherial, Jagtial, Peddapalli, Jayashankar-Bhupalpally, Hanumakonda, Mulugu, Kamareddy, Sangareddy, and Rajanna-Sircilla districts.

Thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds with speeds of 30-40 km/h are also expected in these areas.
Following 24 hours: Isolated areas of Komaram Bheem-Asifabad, Mancherial, and Peddapalli districts may see heavy rain.
An orange alert has been issued, urging the public to exercise caution due to potential heavy rains, strong winds, thunderstorms, and lightning. Officials advise people to stay indoors if possible, avoid taking shelter under trees, and be aware of the risk of lightning strikes.
Telangana has already surpassed its average rainfall for July (229.1 mm) as of Wednesday, with a total of 238.9 mm since the monsoon season began on June 1st. (Maxim News)
