The State Is Currently Celebrating The Two-Day Bonalu Festival

The term “halal jihad” has emerged as a recent conspiracy theory among some Hindu right-wing groups, alleging that the consumption of halal food by Muslims is harming Hindu food traders. These groups also spread misleading claims that Muslims ‘spit’ in food to make it halal and advocate for a legal ban on halal products. (Maxim News)
