I Am A Farmer Too: I Know Their Situation Very Well: Shivraj Singh Chauhan

Khammam/Hyderabad, Sept 6 (Maxim News): Union Minister for Agriculture Shivraj Singh Chauhan visited the flood-affected areas around Khammam, along with Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka. An aerial survey was conducted in the flood-prone areas.

Later he spoke in a meeting organized at Khammam, on behalf of the Centre, and he promised to stand by the flood victims.  Farmers are very worried due to heavy floods.

The center stands by them in times of crisis. The previous government diverted central funds meant under SDRF which were not utilised properly. He said, I am also a farmer, I know the situation of farmers very well.  Paddy and other crops were badly damaged due to floods. Never seen such situations in the past. Cattle and other dumb creatures lost their lives. Shivraj Singh Chouhan assured that we will stand by the flood victims on behalf of the central government.
