High Court Gives Nod To Ganesh Immersion On Hussain Sagar, Restricts POP Idols

Hyderabad, Sept 10 (Maxim News): The Telangana High Court has clarified Ganesh immersion ceremonies in Hussainsagar. It has been suggested to follow the guidelines framed in 2021.

The High Court clarified that only earthen and eco-friendly idols should be immersed.  The idols of POP have been ordered to be immersed in the artificial water tank set up by GHMC.  The bench asked the petitioner why he filed the contempt petition so late.  (Maxim News)
