HYDRA Granted Full Powers to Remove Illegal Encroachments in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Sept 11 (Maxim News): Full powers are coming to HYDRA in the state to remove the illegal encroachments which is the next target of HYDRA. The bulldozers of the HYDRA will be heading toward the closure this weekend.

HYDRA is ready to take action against those who built houses under cover through illegal methods. The HYDRA is ready for the removal of illegal encroachments. In the last 10 to 15  years, construction has come up in FTL, and buffer zones have sprung up massively.

More Than 10,000 Illegal Houses in Musi

Notices have already been issued to those involved in the closure of Chaderghat and Musarambagh. The government is making alternative arrangements to allot double-bedroom houses to deserving victims. HYDRA submitted a comprehensive report on encroachments to the government. Revenue officials found that there are more than 10,000 houses in Musi.

On the other hand, the government is strengthening the Hyderabad Disaster Response-Assets Monitoring and Protection Agency (HYDRA), which was established to protect ponds. To this extent, the file has been moved to give all powers to HYDRA to take legal action against encroachment of public places, ponds, canals, and ponds and to demolish illegal structures. The Law Department has made it clear that it has no objections to handing over powers from Collectors to lower levels of HYDRA under the Revenue and Prevention and Encroachments Act.

In this context, the file went to Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy from the Chief Secretary of the Revenue Department asking for further action. It will reach CM Revanth Reddy in one or two days. It is informed that a decision is likely to be taken immediately. With this, HYDRA will get the powers of revenue, GHMC, HMDA, water drainage, panchayat raj, roads and buildings, etc. (Maxim News)
