HYDRA to Halt Bank Loans for Illegal Constructions

Hyderabad, Sept 24 (Maxim News): HYDRA has taken another sensational decision to demolish illegal structures in the state’s buffer zone and FTL. It will stop banks from giving loans to illegal constructions. In this regard, HYDRA Commissioner Ranganath will meet the bankers in two days.

HYDRA Legal Team Prepared

HYDRA has written a letter to public sector private banks on this. HYDRA is taking steps to stop building illegal structures in the buffer zone and FTL. He will also give clear instructions to the banks. The legal team was also prepared by HYDRA Commissioner Ranganath. HYDRA has already prepared a list of banks that have given loans to recently demolished buildings and villas. HYDRA Chief Ranganath has become serious about giving loans for construction in ponds.

Meanwhile, HYDRA, which started demolition on June 20, is rushing ahead. The government also gave HYDRA high powers. So far, HYDRA has dismantled 300 encroachments in about 30 areas. The encroached 120 acres were handed over to the government. HYDRA Commissioner Ranganath inspected the pond due to complaints about multi-storied constructions encroaching on FTL and buffer zones. Demolition is going on with high-reach jaw crushers as well as JCBs and bulldozers. HYDERA aggression continued in 27 municipalities and 33 villages within GHMC, ORR along with GHMC.

HYDRA Demolition

Recently, it is known that HYDRA has razed structures on government lands in Kukatpally, Kishta Reddypet, and Patelguda in Aminpur Municipality. Demolished structure in Kukatpally covering an area of four acres in Nalla Cheruvu FTL Buffer Zone, over an acre in Kishta Reddypet, and three acres in Patelguda.

The HYDRA team along with the officials of the revenue, drainage, and town planning department took up the demolition. HYDRA Commissioner AV Ranganath said that the encroachments and buildings in the area of 8 acres in three areas have been removed.

However, the victims said that the structures were razed to the ground without giving them time to take their belongings.  Those who run small businesses after taking loans feel that they have lost lakhs of rupees due to HYDRA’s actions and are on the road.  (Maxim News)
