75 Questions To Answer In The House-To-House Family Survey

Hyderabad, Nov 3 (Maxim News): The stage is set for a comprehensive house-to-house family survey in Telangana. The officials will conduct the survey for 20 days from November 6.

As part of this, while the staff is busy numbering the houses, it is reported that one enumerator has been appointed for 150 families.  With this survey, Revanth Sarkar plans to calculate the social, economic, educational,  employment, and political aspects of Telangana state.  

However, BC Commission Chairman G. Niranjan has warned that criminal action will be taken if false information is given regarding caste, religion, property, and debts in the survey.  

Niranjan said that this process is being done to benefit the people of all sections.  It is suggested to disclose personal details like income and assets along with caste in the family survey.  He said that comprehensive information will be entered in a format designed with a total of 75 questions.  What is the population of the respective castes, how many members are in the family, what they have studied, what job they are doing, how much they are earning, the details of assets, how they have been earned, and the beneficiaries of which schemes will be recorded.

Each family is assigned a serial number.  The first step is to enter general details in 11 columns.  The total number, mother tongue, gender, religion, caste, age, and Aadhaar number details will be entered along with the owner of the family.  In the second step, education details are collected in columns 12 to 19.  Mobile number, type of disability, marital status, age at the time of joining school, educational qualification, medium, and reasons for leaving school will be recorded in this.  

In the 20th to 30th column, the employment details are recorded.  In columns 31 to 40, the land details, Dharani passbook number, in what form the land was acquired, patta, assigned land, whether it was acquired under forest rights, whether there is an irrigation facility, and if it is cultivated on leased land, the details of the area will be collected. 

Reservation benefits will be entered in columns 41 to 45.  From 46 to 48, there are details of political background and migration.  Details of assets and liabilities in 48 to 56.  There are details of the loans taken in these five years, their requirements, and where they were taken from.  Are you currently farming?  How much livestock?  Officials say that properties, vehicles, ration card numbers, area of residential house, type of house, sources of drinking water, current, bathroom, and fuel used for cooking should be clearly stated.  (Maxim News)
