On the other hand, the registrar of Kaloji Narayana Health University has complained to the Mattewada Police station in Warangal that some individuals, agencies, and many NEET students are blocking PG seats in many private medical colleges in Telangana. ED is still investigating this case. They are canceling the last day of admissions by creating a seat in private medical colleges with the details of those who scored the highest marks in NEET. The ED found that the remaining seats were sold for between Rs. 1 crore to Rs. 2.5 crore, under the management quota.

However, as per the rules, cancellation of seats at the last minute will cost Rs. 5 lakhs and has to be paid. ED’s investigation revealed that the agencies themselves had built it in the name of the students.

The ED registered a case under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act on this matter and conducted searches at 16 places including Hyderabad, Khammam, and Karimnagar for two days

During the searches, many key documents, digital records, cash transactions, and details of fees paid by PG and MBBS students were collected. As part of the search, cash of Rs. 1.4 crore was seized from Mallareddy Medical College. It has frozen Rs. 2.89 crore in the bank accounts of Mallareddy College, which appeared suspicious in connection with PG admissions. The investigation is currently ongoing.  (Maxim News)
