Hyderabad, August 14: The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education has extended the first year Intermediate admission deadline to August 31.
The extension applies to all colleges offering two year Intermediate courses in Telangana for the 2026 27 academic year.
No Admission Tests For Intermediate Courses
The Board directed junior colleges not to conduct separate admission tests.
It also instructed colleges to follow reservation norms and merit based admissions.
Colleges must admit students only within their approved intake.
The Board directed institutions to display sanctioned sections, filled seats and vacancies at their entrances.
They must update the information daily to keep admission details transparent.
Colleges must also obtain mandatory anti drug declarations from students and parents during admissions.
Meanwhile, the Board advised students and parents to choose only TGBIE affiliated junior colleges.
