House-Hold-Survey Is To Provide Govt Welfare Schemes: GHMC Mayor
Hyderabad, Nov 23 (Maxim News): Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi said that the main purpose of the comprehensive house-to-house family survey is to provide benefits of government welfare schemes to all the deserving people and this survey will help in improving the living standards of the people.

On Friday, Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi, along with MLC Balmuri Venkat, visited Cachiguda’s Zebal Bazaar colonies and inspected the comprehensive house-to-house family survey process for collecting social, economic, educational, political, employment and caste details. On this occasion, how many house surveys are completed by her enumerators per day? Are there any problems? Asked if people are giving full details. The enumerators were asked whether they were informing the public why they were conducting the survey. Supervisors and enumerators were advised to clear the doubts they asked while going to the survey. Enumerators should explain the survey patiently and collect details.
On this occasion, she said that the comprehensive house-to-house family survey process has been re-examined at the field level in each division and explained to the people why the survey is being conducted. He said that all the people are responding well and voluntarily coming forward and providing their details.

On this occasion, Mayor Kachiguda went to the houses of Gopi Singh and R. Vinod in Zebal Bazar Colony and explained the purpose of the survey to them and collected the complete details and recorded them with the enumerators. Similarly, did the survey go to many houses next door? Is surveying good or not? They were asked whether there would be any trouble. The respective house owners told the mayor that the survey of their house has been completed, all the details asked have been given and there is no problem. They told the mayor that after you explained the purpose of the survey, the misconception was removed. She urged people not to believe any false propaganda about the survey and to cooperate with the enumerators who came for the survey by providing correct details. He said that the details will be kept confidential.
MLC Balmuri Venkat said… The comprehensive house-to-house family survey undertaken historically by the Telangana government stands as a compass for the country. He said that all the public representatives have traveled extensively and explained the purpose of the survey to the people and encouraged them to provide details. He said that this survey will be the basis for tomorrow’s public and the future. He said that they are only taking the details given by the people and there is no pressure. People are requested to cooperate for the successful completion of the survey.
