Crime Rate Rises By 4 Percent Under Rachakonda Police Commissionerate In 2024
Hyderabad, Dec 23 (Maxim News): The overall crime rate has increased by 4 percent under Rachakonda police commissionerate during 2024.

Presenting the annual report, Rachakonda Police Commissioner G.Sudheer Babu on Monday said that murders increased by 11 percent, kidnaps increased by 10 per cent and rape cases by 17 per cent as compared to 2023.
Meanwhile, Cybercrime cases have increased by 42.5 per cent this year when compared to the previous year. A total of 53 foreigners were arrested in cybercrime cases and a total amount of Rs. 23.12 crore was frozen in bank accounts. Total of Rs. 21.94 crore amount refunded to victims who lost their money to cybercrime.
During 2024, a total of 183 NDPS cases registered through Special Operation teams and 130 offenders were arrested. (Maxim News)
