Over 300 Cases Booked Against Private Travels In Telangana

Hyderabad, Jan 13 (Maxim News): In the backdrop of Sankranti, the Transport Department has cracked down on private travel agencies operating in violation of the rules.

The transport Department has been conducting inspections for the past four days. 12 special teams have been formed in Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy, Nalgonda, Nizamabad, Mahabubnagar, and other areas and have been conducting inspections.

Chandrashekhar Goud, joint Transport Commissioner, Enforcement, Transport Department, said that more than 300 cases have been registered against private travel companies operating in violation of the rules during inspections at LB Nagar and Aramghar in Hyderabad city. he clarified that the inspections will continue continuously.

He said that they have been receiving complaints that private travel company owners are charging passengers arbitrarily in the wake of the Sankranti festival. In that contest, extensive inspections have been carried out. Along with these, he said, that special attention has been paid to vehicles that are violating the rules. (Maxim News)
