Supreme Court Dismisses KTR’s Petition In Formula E-Race Case
Delhi/Hyderabad, Jan 15 (Maxim News): BRS Working President K.Tarak Rama Rao has faced a setback in the Supreme Court. The apex court has dismissed his petition in a case related to the Formula E-race. It has ruled that it cannot interfere in the matter.

KTR recently filed a petition in the Telangana High Court to squash the case registered by the ACB. The High Court refused to do so. As a result, he approached the Supreme Court on the 8th of this month. He filed a petition challenging the High Court’s orders.
A bench of Justice Bela M.Divedi and Justice Prasanna Worle heard KTR’s petition. On the other hand, the Telangana state government and the ACB have already filed a caveat petition in the Supreme Court.

KTR’s lawyer Sundaram brought the case to the attention of the Supreme Court, saying that the case was registered for political reasons and that he is currently in the opposition. He argued that the cases are being filed because he is the opposition leader. However, if he is the opposition leader he shouldn’t face cases. Justice Bela M.Divedi questioned. The petition was dismissed, saying that they could not interfere with the High Court’s verdict.
