11th EME Corps Reunion: Honouring Legacy, Celebrating Camaraderie

Secunderabad: The 11th EME Corps Reunion, held from January 30 to February 1, 2025, was a historic and heart-warming event that brought together over 3500 Officers, Junior Commissioned Officers and Other Ranks from across the nation. This three-day celebration, attended by serving personnel and esteemed veterans of the Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers (EME), showcased the spirit of unity, honour and pride that defines the Corps.

The reunion began with a solemn wreath-laying ceremony to honour the brave EME soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the nation. This poignant tribute underscored the Corps’ unwavering commitment to remembering its heroes and reaffirming the values they stood for. One of the most significant moments was the felicitation of Veer Naris, the brave and resilient wives of our fallen heroes, as the Corps expressed its deep gratitude and respect for their strength and courage.

The Reunion’s celebratory spirit brought together officers, JCO and OR, highlighting the rich heritage, customs & traditions of the Corps. Serving personnel and veterans stood shoulder-to-shoulder, demonstrating the enduring bond that unites generations of EME soldiers. Veterans, with their invaluable wisdom, shared insights and shared their experiences with the serving personnel, enriching them with lessons drawn from their illustrious service. This intergenerational exchange strengthened the camaraderie and also served as a source of inspiration for the young soldiers of the Corps.
