Hyderabad, Feb 14 (Maxim News): Hundreds of dead chickens infected with bird flu were found dumped in the Akkampally reservoir, which supplies drinking water to Hyderabad and nearby villages in Nalgonda district.

After the shocking discovery, Devarakonda RDO Ramana Reddy, along with irrigation officials, inspected the reservoir and ordered a thorough search of the area.

Investigation Underway

RDO Ramana Reddy has instructed Gudipalli police to investigate who dumped the infected chickens and to register a case against those responsible.
