BioAsia 2025: “We Will Make Telangana A Trillion Dollar Economy In The Next 10 Years: Revanth Reddy
Hyderabad, Feb 25 (Maxim News): Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said that the annual BioAsia conference had established Hyderabad as the world capital of life sciences. He said that BioAsia is attracting people from all over the country and abroad to set the future of the healthcare sector and guide the world. Though this, many internationally renowned pharma, healthcare, life science, and biotech companies are operating from Hyderabad, the CM said.
Participated in the BioAsia-2025 program organized in Hyderabad. On this occasion, CM Revanth Eddy said, “We have set a goal to make Telangana a trillion-dollar economy in the next 10 years. That is why the Congress government is working with the aim of encouraging institutions that provide research and new innovations. We have invested in higher education for a long time. We have prepared a group of many scientists, science and technology experts, and engineers. We have also established Genome Valley. We will give priority to the service sector in the Hyderabad Core Urban City Area. We are undertaking many huge projects in Hyderabad including Future City and AI City.
Hyderabad Now A Capital Of EV
Hyderabad has now emerged as the capital of electric vehicles in the country. The highest sales of electric vehicles in the country are happening here. We are introducing 3,000 electric buses in the RTC. We will develop a manufacturing hub from the Outer Ring Road to the Regional Ring Road outside the core city. We will establish it as one of the largest manufacturing centers in the world. We will invite investments from all over the world, ORR, and RRR, We will connect these two rings with radial roads. We will develop clusters on both sides of these roads. Telangana is a landlocked state. We will develop a mega dry port and improve special rail and road transport facilities to connect it to the seaport in AP.
We aim to develop Hyderabad as the address of the world’s best ecosystem in the fields of biosciences, biotech, and life sciences. We are working with a plan to develop it as a hub of innovation, research, development, manufacturing, and skills. Just Yesterday, Amgen expanded its operations in Hyderabad. This is a testament to our cooperation. We invite all the world-class giant companies to take advantage of advantage of Telangana, the cooperation of our government, and to share partnerships with us. Our government is committed to providing easy industrial policy, infrastructure, and as much support as desired.

Telangana Number One In Country In Attracting Investments
Telangana is ranked number one in the country in attracting investments from home and abroad. It has the lowest inflation and highest job creation. Recently, Telangana achieved investments of Rs. 1.8 lakh crore at the Davos World Economic Forum. Nearly 50,000 jobs are coming in different sectors. Last year, we successfully attracted investments of more than Rs. 40 thousand crore in the life sciences sector. These investments are spread across more than 150 projects. We are developing pharma villages between ORR and RRR. We hope to create more than five lakh new jobs. The key Green Pharma City under the Future City project is developing rapidly. Major pharmaceutical companies have signed MoUs.
German company Milten Biotech has launched its cell and gene therapy in Genome Valley. We are welcoming four more multinational companies to our ecosystem from this platform. Hyderabad has maintained its name as a pharma manufacturing, IT, and digital health powerhouse in the last 25 years. We successfully organized the AI Healthcare Summit last year. Congratulations to the great minds who attended the BioAsia conference from India and abroad. I hope you will use Telangana as an ideal platform.
