Hyderabad: A 30-year-old man was brutally hacked to death in Hyderabad’s Madhapur on Wednesday, with police suspecting the murder was triggered by a long-standing personal dispute linked to a failed relationship.
The victim, Bhaskar, a native of Warangal district, was found murdered in Ayyappa Society under the jurisdiction of the Madhapur Police Station.
Police Probe Personal Dispute Angle
According to the preliminary investigation, Bhaskar was previously in a relationship with a woman from his native village. Her family reportedly opposed the relationship and married her to another man about three years ago. The couple has since divorced.
Police suspect the woman’s father believed Bhaskar was responsible for the breakdown of the marriage and had allegedly developed a grudge against him. Investigators are examining whether this led to the murder.
Case Registered, Hunt for Accused On
Bhaskar’s brother filed a complaint alleging that unidentified assailants attacked and hacked him to death while he was alone in the Ayyappa Society area.
A case has been registered, and forensic teams have examined the crime scene. Police are reviewing all possible angles and have launched efforts to identify and arrest those involved.
Officials said the exact motive behind the murder and the role of the suspects will be established as the investigation progresses.
