US Cancels Visa Of Indian Student: Accused Of Supporting Hamas: Voluntary Returns To India

Internet/Hyderabad, Mar 15 (Maxim News): Unexpected incidents are coming to light after the surveillance of illegal immigrants and students in America. The US has canceled the student visa of Indian student Ranjani Srinivasan, who is studying at Columbia University in America.

The US has accused Indian student Ranjani Srinivasan of supporting Hamas in favor of the Palestinians.  It was in this context that her visa was canceled. A few years ago, an event was held at Columbia University in favor of the Palestinians. After that, the US government began the surveillance of students.  During the surveillance, it was confirmed that Indian student Ranjani Srinivasan was supporting Hamas. The US government clarified that her student visa was canceled in this context.

Immediately after her visa was revoked, Ranjani Sriivasan voluntarily departed the United States.  The US Department of Homeland Security has released a video of Ranjani Srinivasan’s voluntary departure from the United States using the CBP Home app to leave the United States on March 11, 2025.

Granting a visa to study in the US is a matter of right and dignity.  Revoking the right to a visa when someone comes to study and supports violence and terrorism is the right decision.  Such people should not be in the country.  I am happy to see that one of the terrorist sympathizers of Columbia University used the CBP Home app to self-depart, posted on X. This video has now gone viral.  While Ranjani Srinivasan’s visa was revoked on March 5th, she left the US and returned to India on March 11th.  This was announced by the US.

Ranjani Sriivasan is an Indian student pursuing a doctoral degree in architecture and urban planning at Columbia University in the US.  She did her masters at the graduate School of Design from Harvard University.  

Srinivasan did her degree of CEPT (Center for Excellence in Urban Planning and Design) in India, which is located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
