High Court Express Anger On Former MLA Chennamaneni Ramesh

Hyderabad, April 21 (Maxim News): A hearing was held in the Telangana High Court on Monday on the previous verdict on the citizenship of former Vemulawada MLA Chennamaneni Ramesh. The court ruled that Chennamaneni Ramesh is not an Indian citizen, but a German citizen.

The High Court expressed its anger that the authorities and courts were misled for 15 years with false documents. The court upheld the decision taken by the Center to cancel Chennamaneni’s Indian citizenship. Chennamaneni had earlier ruled that Rs. 30 lakhs should be paid to the petitioner as court expenses. It is known that out of the Rs. 30 lakhs, the petitioner was ordered to pay Rs. 25 lakhs to Adi Srinivas and Rs. 5 lakhs to the High Court Legal Services Committee. Adi Srinivas has been fighting a legal battle for the last 15 years that Chennamaneni Ramesh is not an Indian citizen. In this order, Chennamaneni Ramesh admitted his mistake without appealing the court verdict and paid Rs. 30 lakh as court costs. With this, on  Monday, before the bench of High Court Justice Vijay Sen Reddy, the lawyer representing Chennamaneni Ramesh gave Rs. 25 lakh to the petitioner Adi Srinivas. 

On the occasion, petitioner Adi Srinivas said that he welcomed the court’s verdict. He said that Chennamaneni Ramesh is not an Indian citizen and has been fighting a legal battle for the last 15 years, and he admitted his mistake without appealing the High Court’s verdict. He said that Chennamaneni paid Rs. 30 lakh as court expenses. On Monday, before the bench of High Court Justice Vijay Sen Reddy, Chennamaneni’s lawyer gave him Rs. 25 lakh in the form of a DD. He said that another Rs. 5 lakh was paid to the Telangana State Legal Service Authority.
