Officials are preparing to examine land boundaries, survey numbers and the extent of the properties recorded in official documents against their actual position on the ground. As part of the process, authorities are also making arrangements to issue advance survey notices to farmers in Erravalli village.
According to reports, officials may serve a survey notice directly to KCR by Friday evening. However, the proposed notice and its delivery have not been independently confirmed.
The survey is part of a wider revenue exercise covering Erravalli and neighbouring Shivar Venkatapur village. Reports indicate that officials have already served notices on local farmers and are expected to issue notices to KCR and his family members seeking relevant land records.
A key issue under examination concerns Survey No. 325 in Erravalli. Revenue records reportedly indicate an extent of around 388 acres, while an earlier field survey identified approximately 343 acres, leaving a discrepancy of about 45 acres. Officials are seeking to establish the boundaries and determine the status of the land through verification of records and field measurements.
The inquiry is also examining allegations that government and assigned lands cultivated by poor farmers, including members of SC and BC communities, were affected by changes to Dharani land records and used for the expansion of the farmhouse or access roads. These remain allegations and are yet to be established through the official survey and investigation.
Authorities are reportedly comparing Google Earth satellite images, old pahani records and current revenue documents to establish the historical and present status of the land. The findings of the survey are expected to clarify the extent, ownership and boundaries of the disputed properties. (Maxim News)
