As of now, the gold rates in Hyderabad stand at ₹87,550 per 10 grams for 22-carat and ₹95,510 for 24-carat gold. This marks a notable decline from recent historic highs, but still reflects significant growth compared to the start of the year. On January 1, gold was priced at ₹71,500 and ₹78,000 for 22-carat and 24-carat gold, respectively, showing a remarkable 22% surge in 2025.

Gold Buyers Return as Prices Cool Down

The recent spike had prompted many buyers to hold off purchasing gold, anticipating a correction. With rates now easing slightly, interest is growing among consumers eager to buy before any further increases.

Outlook for Gold Rates in Hyderabad

Despite the recent dip, market analysts remain optimistic about gold’s long-term trajectory. At present, gold is trading at around USD 3,285.55 per ounce globally. Experts suggest that the precious metal is likely to maintain its bullish trend due to ongoing global economic uncertainties.

Key Factors Driving Gold Prices

This year’s gold rally has been fueled by multiple factors:

  • Global Uncertainties: Ongoing trade wars, geopolitical tensions, and economic instability have pushed investors toward safe-haven assets like gold.
  • Weakening US Dollar: A declining dollar has made gold more affordable for international buyers, boosting demand worldwide.
  • Regional Conflicts: Developments in the Russia-Ukraine conflict and Middle East tensions continue to impact gold markets.

While gold prices have retreated from record highs, experts caution that further shifts depend on global events, including potential trade deals and geopolitical stability.

In Hyderabad and across India, gold remains a popular investment choice, especially in uncertain times, and any dips in price are seen as key opportunities for buyers.
