Special Cards To Women Members Of Self-Help Groups

Hyderabad, June 2 (Maxim News): Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said that the government will provide special cards with QAR codes to women members of self-help groups in the state.

We will conduct free medical check-ups for them every year and include their health profile details along with complete details in the card. The aim of the praja government is to make women in the state like Mahalakshmi and stand proudly.

Farmers are the backbone of the state. That is why the public government is working with the welfare of farmers as the aim. As promised, we have simultaneously waived off loans of Rs. 2 lakh and made farmers debt-free.

In just eight months, we have waived off loans of Rs. 20,617 crore to 25,35,964 farmers and paid off the loans of the food grains. We are providing 24 hour free electricity to farmers with Rs. 15,333 crore, Under the Rythu Bharosa scheme, we have increased the investment assistance to farmers to Rs. 12 thousand per acre.

Under the indiramma Atmiya Bharosa scheme, we are providing Rs. 12 thousand per year to the families of landless agricultural laborers. Along with the support price for paddy, we are giving a bonus of Rs. 500 to small farmers.

This has not only provided additional income to farmers, but also increased the yield of small grains in the state. With this, Telangana has become number one in the country with a production of 275 lakh metric tons of grain. We have set up more than 8,000 purchase centers across the state to meet the increased grain production.

The government is buying every grain grown by farmers and we are ensuring that farmers do not fall prey to middlemen. We have brought the Bhu Bharati-2025 Act with the aim of a Telangana free of land disputes. We are maintaining proper land rights records and providing assurance to land owners. We are providing a permanent solution to land problems.

Youth Is Our Future

The Chief Minister said that Youth is our future. That is why within 16 months of the Praja government coming to power, we have filled more than 60,000 job vacancies and issued appointment letters. We have announced DSC and appointed more than 10,000 teachers. With the arrival of international investments, we have provided job opportunities to one lakh people in the private sector.

We are providing assurance to the unemployed by filling vacancies in various sectors like medical, police, irrigation, Singareni Collieries etc. We are providing financial assistance of one lakh rupees to those preparing for civil services exams without financial difficulties. We are establishing Young India Skill University and providing skill training to the youth. We are going to establish a Sports University with the aim of the next Olympics. As soon as the Praja government came to power, we took revolutionary steps to cleanse the education and medical sectors. We believed that the future of the country lies in the classrooms.

We have appointed an Education Commission to raise the standards of education in government schools to match those of private educational institutions. We have instructed the commission to formulate a comprehensive policy for establishing a better education system. We are also planning to introduce a pre-school system in government schools. We have solved the problem of mess charges in government gurukuls and hostels.

We have increased diet charges by 40 percent and cosmetic charges by 200 percent, which was unprecedented in the past. We are constructing Young India Residential Schools so that all SC, ST, BC and minority students can study in the same campus. In the first phase, we have undertaken the construction of 58 Young India Residential Schools at a cost of Rs. 11,600 crores. (Maxim News)
