JNU VC Dr Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar to deliver convocation address at Military Engineering college
Hyderabad, Dec 14 (Maxim News): The Vice Chancellor of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi Dr Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar will be the Chief Guest for the 90th Convocation Ceremony of Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering (MCEME), to be held here on December 15.
The ceremony will be attended by a host of senior civil and military dignitaries and an august gathering of more than 400 service personnel and their families.
Dr Jagadesh Kumar, who is the Chief Guest, will deliver the convocation address.
Twenty-three Officers of Degree Engineering (DE-97) and 47 Officers of Technical Entry Scheme (TES-26) will be graduating as engineers from the portals of MCEME.
MCEME trains technical human capital for providing combat engineering support to the complete equipment of the Indian Army.
The engineers produced jointly by the JNU and MCEME meet this vital need of the Indian Army.
Fulfilling this mandate for over six decades, the College has evolved into a world class training institution.
The training standards of the College have been recognised and College has been awarded with five time Golden Peacock National Award for Training, Quality ISO-9001 certification, Director General of Civil Aviation accreditation for type training establishment and Prime Minister Awards for four Student Projects.
