Iran Rains Missiles, Israel Strikes Back

Since early morning, multiple regions of Israel have been under threat from Iranian missiles, triggering air raid sirens across Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan, Holon, and other cities. Israeli defence sources reported that air defence systems effectively intercepted many of the incoming missiles, limiting damage and casualties.

In retaliation, Israel launched targeted strikes, confirming direct hits on the Arak-Khondab nuclear complex, a site long suspected by the West of covert plutonium production despite Iran’s 2015 agreement to halt such activities. Before the strike, Israel issued evacuation warnings to residents in the Arak region. Iranian state media acknowledged the strikes but stated that no radiation leaks or hazards have been detected so far.
