Phone Tapping Case: Bandi Sanjay Before SIT

Hyderabad, June 21 (Maxim News):  The phone tapping case in Telangana is creating a sensation.  There are allegations that phone tapping was done during the previous BRS government.  There are allegations that the phones of several public representatives, officials and opposition party leaders in the state were tapped.

The government, which has arrested many people in this case, has formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate the case.  Meanwhile, the SIT, which has already interrogated many people, is currently collecting statements from political leaders and officials.   

Several people appeared before the SIT and gave their statements on the tapping allegations.  However, in this case, it is learnt that the SIT officials recently contacted Union Minister and bandi Sanjay on phone.

The SIT found that his phones of and his close associates were also tapped.  With this, the SIT is ready to record his statement. As part of that, the officials asked him to come to the SIT office.  it is learnt that he was called to this extent.

Responding to this, Sanjay is learnt to have said that he will be available till the 23rd of this month and will attend the inquiry whenever called before this.  The SIT is ready to interrogate him and record hi8s statement.  (Maxim News)
