Washington/Internet/Hyderabad, Oct 1 (Maxim News): Praise is pouring in for the Flydubai pilot. The co-pilot attacked the pilot with a knife in the cockpit of a plane flying from Dubai to Israel. However, it seems that the pilot prevented the hijacking of the plane. The Flydubai pilot has been identified as Smit Machchhar. Everyone is praising the courage shown by Machar, an Indian national. US President Trump has compared him to a hero.
Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office, Trump said that he had spoken to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about the issue. Indian Prime Minister Modi and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu also praised Pilot Machar’s courage.
Trump said the pilot’s condition may have been critical, but his courage was amazing, and he was a hero. Trump said the pilot opened his cockpit door and asked for help from passengers, and that the co-pilot was probably a terrorist. Trump said an Israeli passenger saved the bleeding pilot’s body. There were 174 people on the plane at the time of the attack. The plane descended about 14,000 feet in just 30 seconds after the pilot was stabbed.
The plane made an emergency landing in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu said that the co-pilot who stabbed the pilot .. conspired to bring down the plane. Pilot Machar is currently receiving treatment in Tabuk Hospital. His condition is stable. Pilot Machar was lying in a pool of blood in the cockpit.
