ACB Caught GHMC AE Manisha Red-Handed For Accepting Bribe

Hyderabad, June 24 (Maxim News): GHMC Engineering Department AE T.manisha was caught red-handed by ACB officials while accepting a bribe from a contractor. He was caught by ACB officials while accepting the second installment of bribe as per the agreement. This incident took place on Monday at the Golnaka ward office under GHMC Circle-16.

According to the details given by the ACB officials, Manisha worked as the AE of Nallakunta division under the circle from some time and is currently working in the Golnaka Division. A contractor had taken over the completed development work within the division. When the contractor asked the AE for the bill, she demanded a bribe of Rs. 15,000. With this, the contractor gae Rs. 5,000 as the first installment. Before giving the second installment, he approached the ACB officials.

On their instructions, he gave money to AE at the Golnaka ward office on Monday. The ACB officials who were hiding there caught her red-handed. Later, she was arrested and produced before the ACB court in Nampally. AE Manisha participated in a review meeting organized by the MLA on drug development without being caught by the ACB. it is noteworthy that she came out with permission before the review meeting was completed and was caught by the ACB.
