ACB Raids In-Irrigation Chief Muralidhar Rao In Assets Case
Hyderabad, July 15 (Maxim News): The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday launched simultaneous searches at multiple locations, including the residence of retired Engineer-in-Chief of the Irrigation Department, Muralidhar Rao, in connection with a disproportionate assets (DA) case.
The ACB recently registered a case against Muralidhar Rao for allegedly amassing assets worth several crores during his tenure in various capacities within the Irrigation Department.
Ten ACB teams carried out searches in Hyderabad, Karimnagar, and other parts of the state. The focus of the operation was on verifying income sources, property documents, gold ornaments, cash holdings, and investments. (Maxim News)
