Hyderabad, July 20, 2025 — The vibrant Bonalu festival is underway in Hyderabad, filling the city with devotion, color, and spiritual fervor as devotees throng various Goddess Mahankali temples, especially the iconic Lal Darwaja Simhavahini Mahankali Temple, to offer prayers during the auspicious month of Ashada.

Top Leaders and Celebrities Join the Devotion

- Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka visited the Simhavahini temple and offered silk clothes to the deity on behalf of the Telangana Government.
- Ministers Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and Ponnam Prabhakar also offered silk garments at the Bhagyalakshmi Temple near Charminar, a key spiritual landmark.
- MLC Kavitha had darshan of Durbar Maisamma Talli in Karwan.
- Governor Bandaru Dattatreya visited the Bhagyalakshmi Temple and paid his respects.
