Hyderabad, Aug 30 (Maxim News): Police arrested several BRS MLAs, MLCs, and other leaders who staged a protest in front of the Agriculture Commissioner’s office demanding relief from the urea shortage in the state. They were later shifted to the respective police stations. BRS leaders expressed their anger at the government on this occasion.
Earlier, BRS MLAs and MLCs submitted a memorandum to the Agriculture Commissioner regarding the shortage of urea. BRS leaders suggested to the Commissioner that he address the shortage of urea and bring this issue to the attention of the government. BRS leaders clarified to the Commissioner that we are not doing politics. We are speaking on behalf of the farmers.
They shouted slogans that the Congress party was the cause of the urea crisis. They also raised slogans that this government had made farmers stand on the roads even during the festival. They shouted slogans like “Ganapati Bappa Moriya- Kavalaiya Urea“. They shouted slogans that the Congress government, which is unable to supply fertilizers to farmers, should step down immediately. They demanded that urea be supplied to farmers immediately. The BRS MLAs shouted slogans like Revanth Dosham- Fraud to farmers.” (Maxim News)
