Hyderabad Flood Alert: Osman And Himayat Sagar Gates Lifted, Musi at Danger Mark

Hyderabad, Sept 13 (Maxim News): Heavy rains are falling in Telangana as well as in Hyderabad, causing heavy flood water to flow into Osman Sagar and Himayat Sagar. Musi has also reached the barrage level as flood water has reached the barrage level in Bhagyanagaram. The flood flow in Musi is at a dangerous level as the gates of the twin reservoirs of Osman Sagar and Himayat Sagar have been lifted. The authorities have lifted 10 gates of Osman Sagar and Himayat Sagar and released 8300 cusecs of water into Musi.

In this order, the Narsingh ORR service road, ORR entry and exit were closed in advance. The traffic police advised passengers to take alternative routes. In this order, the movement of people from Manchirevula to Narsingh was stopped.

Roads Closed Due To Musi Overflow

Traffic between Ziaguda and Puranapule was closed as the Musi floodwaters were flowing over the Manchirevula Bridge. Also, floodwaters reached 100 feet above the Jiyaguda road. Vehicles going to Puranapule and the High Court were diverted from the caravan. (Maxim News)
